My buddy just moved into a new apartment and was forced to downsize his workspaces. As a result, he sold me his partially assembled Zenworks CNC for CHEAP. I immediately set out to get it up and running.

Depending on how you see it, this light box cost between $15 and $1,430 to make. Regardless, it looks awesome and I’m excited to make more.

Long before Inventables sold an all-in-one controller/power supply for the X-Carve, I was busy making my own better version.
My bedroom had been lacking a proper coat rack, and the idea of using super cheap used screwdrivers as hanging pegs seemed compelling.
Due to a programming error, my X-Carve cut the cedar sign almost 10x too fast. After some epoxy resin + pigment, it still turned out amazingly well.
I found a few glass insulators from century-old electrical systems, and turned them into simple, tasteful bedside lamps.
